Magazine Publications

One of the main objectives for a brand is reach. Social media is the best way to gain exposure, but magazines are another option if your brand leans towards print media.

Do the research to see which magazines will fit your brand best! What you share can be a product, an interview, your website, your social media, a special campaign, or whatever you’d like to promote.

Here are some helpful tips as you start to research magazines and determine what ad to place:

  • Make a list of 3 magazines you’d like to submit to

  • Determine how often you’d like an ad to be placed

  • Save all emails and attachments to a folder for your archive

  • Reflect on rejection emails if they provide specifics about why your ad was denied and see if there are adjustments you can make (if you’re unable to, that’s okay)

  • Analyze your return on investment (ROI) every quarter to see if the ads are helping to generate an increase in reach and more!
