Raine & Rose nominated Coach Ang because her branding and values as a business owner and service provider go hand in hand. Her coaching business encourages women to step into their queen energy.

Who are you as a person?

My full name is Angelique Atwell but I go by Ang or Angie. I am a certified mindset and life coach for millennial women of color since I can best relate to them as a millenial Latina myself. I am a newly single mom to a 3 year old little boy and I love a good latte with vanilla or agave. As long as I can remember I have been a night owl who loves a good comfort show to wind down. Being an extrovert and social butterfly my entire life, the idea of talking with amazing women and hearing their stories brings me so much joy and utilizes my natural skills of communicating with different people and different personalities.

Why did you start your business?

Being a life coach has been the joy of my life and such a passion that I started taking free clients when first starting my business. And Coach Ang Atwell, LLC. is my second business after closing my first business. An apparel and accessories brand that I opened in 2020 focused on self love and self care which helped catapult me into life coaching which I am so thankful for. I realized product based business wasn't my true passion but it collided perfectly in the self development world that is the coaching industry. After being an athlete my entire life, coaching sports, and reading the book You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero, I knew life coaching was the path for me.

If you want other women in biz to know one thing, what would it be?

That you have to take messy action. Everyone admires the big Tik Tok star or Youtube star but maybe don't stop to think at one point that person had to post their first video and then their 100th video and learn as they go in terms of what works and what doesn't. We can get in our own way by thinking we have to have every single detail figured out when really we need to learn as we go. As in just START and keep going and keep showing up.

What results stick out to you the most about Pinterest’s take on “Angelique Aesthetic?”

Strong feminine energy because I am a strong woman but I am also in tune with my feminine energy at the same time which is what I want all the women I work with or cross paths with to feel like.
