Case Study: Modestine®’s Sweet Love Tea Blend
Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph the Sweet Love tea blend from Modestine®️ Tea. To get a sense of what this lovely blend is about, its description reads:
Sweet Love is a delicious black tea blend crafted to inspire sweet, intentional meaningful moments with self. A perfect addition to your everyday Self-Love ritual.
Inspiration:
As I was doing research, I scoured Modestine®️’s Instagram page (image preview below for my main inspiration!) to familiarize myself with the brand style, theme, and messaging as well as utilizing Pinterest for similar inspiration. I took note of the warmth and richness of the color scheme and the way Modestine®️ encourages and incorporates ritual into daily life.
The result:
Taking these pointers from my inspiration I decided to shoot photos in two different ritualistic settings, shooting and editing with warmth and natural lighting. I matched small details like the red lipstick with the red label to bring cohesion to the photos.
Each set of photos displays a different way to show yourself love and attention within your daily routine. This first set demonstrates brewing yourself a cup of Sweet Love while you ready yourself for a busy day in the morning.
In this second setting, the opposite is portrayed. Take Sweet Love into the bath with you. Settle into a night routine with a face mask and a loved one under the bubbles.
Case study:
While I wish I had a model available to me on the day that I shot these photos, I love the comparison in ambiance these sets of photos provide. I love to demonstrate with product photography how the product can be used in and enrich daily life. Modestine®️ is a brand that really aligns with this vision of wellness through rituals and teatime!
