Collaboration Over Competition

Valentines1.jpeg

For creatives, part of the marketing process includes asking yourself what makes you different from your competitors- and you really have to sit back and think about your friends and the creators you love and say “how can I make someone choose my business over theirs?”

We’re here to encourage you to rethink your marketing approach. Instead, ask yourself which companies and creatives you’d like to collaborate with. Which ones you’d like to refer people to when you know that you’re not the one for them. Which ones you’d like to work with, amplify, highlight, support, etc.

Seeing potential collaborations in your friends and creators will bring them and you success. People love collabs, and love to see their favorite creators make a collab together (for example Evil Queen and Moon Body Soul)! This also gives you the opportunity to meet or grow your relationships with fellow business owners and/or creatives.

If you have an existing business or are planning out  your business, take some time to reframe your question about competitors to collaborations!

Happy creating!
