Automation Tools: Business Owner Favorites

We LOVE automation tools. Business owners, you’ll want to bookmark these softwares!

Let’s break down some of Raine & Rose’s favorite tools and HOW we use them. Keep in mind: a tool is a tool, you still need strategy and implementation to make it work for you.

  • The first tool we ever invested in was Google.
When it comes to Google, we’ve automated our communication systems: welcome emails, folders for photos and videos that integrate with Canva so we can simply pick and pull the asset, calendar with meeting notes, and more!
Google solves so many problems or concerns that business owners have.
When it comes to your product-based business, we would recommend using Google to help organize your data, keep track of key referral partners or customers, and fill your calendar with your business essentials!

  • The second tool we recommend is Mailchimp.
You’ve heard it time and time again: have an email newsletter. If a social media platform you heavily rely on decides to stop working or goes down fully- will you still have access to your customers? Automating our weekly email newsletter through Mailchimp is simple and easy with their intuitive design and features.
When it comes to your business, we recommend starting your newsletter at a once a month pace until you get the hang of curating content for your newsletter. Then, scale up to once a week. If you can master that successfully for 3 months, try 2-3x a week or stay at once a month.

  • The latest tool we drool over is Notion.
Notion is, hands down, the most beautiful and exciting tool we’ve come across since starting our business. Like, neither of us can shut up about it. (!!!!!)
Notion comes with its own templates, but all you have to do is YouTube “keyword Notion” and you’ll see hundreds of creators sharing how they customized certain pages to kickstart their work and organization efforts.
We wish we could tell you that it’s simply a project management software- but it’s much more.
Notion is a habit log. A content planner. A meeting minutes archive. A reporting system. A team space. And so much more.
We invite you to start by YouTubing Notion for small business owners and see where that takes your brain.

We hope these tools help your business life run a bit smoother!
